Wow, wish I had known about this community a lot earlier. You guys rock!

So as the subject line says, it's about UBC's SLAIS program. Right now I'm trying to decide between UBC for a MLIS and Simmons for the same. 

Does anyone know how the two programs compare in class size, both in terms of actual classes and graduating classes? (I know Simmons only graduates in May, UBC too?) Also, if anyone could comment about how the students interact with one another. For example, do people regularly get together to study or just go and have a few drinks on the weekends, or is it every person, or clique, for themselves? I've heard UBC is largely made of commuters, but since I think I'm going to try and live on campus, I just want to make sure I don't *sigh* get too lonely.
